How we work

Work is not a place.

Hirschen work well together – but not always in the same place. We offer employees the option to work from home, from a fishing hut in Reykjavik, from the square in front of the train station in Ulaanbaatar, or – somewhat less spectacularly – from the office. Because work is not a place. And a sea cucumber is not a vegetable.

Trust is good.

Hirschen trust each other. This applies to daily work as well as cross-location collaboration or, for example, annual leave. For us, it’s called Trust Leave. Each employee takes as much leave as they like. We mean it – and that’s why it’s also in the employment contract.

Unity.

Hirschen care. About good communication, keeping the world a place worth living – and each other. This is evident in our daily interactions as well as in a lot of things we do. For example, we conduct regular satisfaction checks and support all Hirschen with the free PME Family Service, helping them through challenging times.

Office hopping.

All our offices are open to all Hirschen. Whether it’s for a few hours or a couple of days. Desk, Wi-Fi, coffee, pens… everything is there. So, for example, if a copywriter from Munich, whose parents live in Stuttgart, doesn’t want to visit his girlfriend in Cologne, he can get a desk in Vienna.

The short answer: Yes. The slightly longer one: Absolutely. We are looking for individuals who are passionate, want to make an impact, are curious, and constantly challenge the status quo.

We do. In various constellations, all over Germany and the world. Sometimes briefly, sometimes for a long period, sometimes for an even longer period of time. Just send us your profile, your PDF, your works, or whatever you have via email to hallo@hirschen.com.

Varies. If we were to define a process, in order to put it on our website, it might look like this: Acknowledgment of receipt, Interview invitation – typically 1st interview by phone, 2nd interview with the team, prompt decision, Welcome aboard. That’s one way it could go. Or it might be different.

Nothing is mandatory. Everything is optional. We want to get the most accurate picture of you, so it would be good to include anything that helps create this picture: resume, certificates, work samples, praises… something along those lines.

Absolutely: We operate in compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
