ZgH Studio ensures maximum impact of video content with integrated production teams. The new Hirschen label, built on the experience of working for the client OBI, has proven itself, established, and evolved continuously over the years. As part of the Zum goldenen Hirschen family, this knowledge is now also available to other clients.

“Good video content is the currency in digital brand management. We exchange content for the customer’s attention, time, and trust. However, this barter principle only works when content with added value and quality creates genuine relevance. Simply adapting a TVC as a cut-down for Insta-Reels is not enough to achieve impact and engagement in the digital world. The art lies in being able to produce channel-specific content for all relevant paid and owned channels,” says Jost Köllner, Managing Director at Zum goldenen Hirschen Campus Köln.

9:16, 16:9, long, or short – but never 08/15? ZgH Studio is the answer. From small and fast to large and elaborate: ZgH Studio offers the solution to all questions regarding the production of channel-specific or cross-channel video content. From social media assets to serial content formats to high-value TVCs. With attention to detail, channel, and format.

The label is led by Carolin Bub, Head of Content Operations, and Christopher Becker, Director Creative Production. Both have extensive experience in film and video production. They manage a team of 27 specialists in TV and film production, format development, post-production, and social content production. The label enables clients to have direct access to skills such as DOPs, motion and SFX design, video editing, set construction, and editing. “An organization that allows us to produce very quickly and efficiently and to make changes even while assets are on air,” explains Köllner further.

By using digital real-time preproduction and previsualization of concepts, productions can be precisely planned. Clients have the opportunity to experience their ideas in advance or to remotely visit locations, set-ups, and sets. This feature allows productions to be precisely pre-planned and consequently save time and budget.

Currently, hundreds of photo and video assets are being realized in a dedicated, fully equipped studio covering an area of approximately 4,500 square meters. Due to technical and spatial conditions, multiple productions can be carried out simultaneously without any difficulty. Through digital workflow tools, clients are embedded in the process at all times, ensuring maximum efficiency.

ZgH Studio is also integrated into the global WPP network to handle not only national but also international mandates. In this context, the new label is in close collaboration with the sister teams of Wunderman Thompson Studios International. This cooperation within the WPP world creates a strong alliance to realize multinational content projects end-to-end.
