The Hirschen is among the nominees for the German Sustainability Award 2023 (DNP). This year, the award is being presented in collaboration with the Federal Ministry for the Environment and the German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) in 100 sectors for the first time. In the category of Culture and Media, specifically in Advertising and PR, we have the chance to win the Sustainability Award! The expert jury of the most prestigious sustainability award in Germany has selected us as one of the 10 agencies in the final round.
What is being evaluated? • Which companies and institutions best address the specific challenges of this industry? • Who is making effective contributions to change within their own operation or through products and services? • Where are the opportunities for transformation particularly successfully and exemplarily utilized?
For us, sustainability involves a holistic integration within the agency – environmentally, economically, and socially. And transparent, credible communication. This applies not only to ourselves but also in our work with our clients, whom we competently accompany on their sustainability journey.
In the fall, we will find out if we have made it to the final of the DNP. Until then, fingers crossed!

"Who, if not here?" - Campaign for the BMWK
The Hirschen Group location in Berlin, along with its subsidiaries Zum goldenen Hirschen and ressourcenmangel, has once again been awarded the contract by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). Over the next four years, they will be responsible for communication services to support public relations.
German Brand Award: OBI wins three times
Since 2018, Zum goldenen Hirschen Cologne 43 has been the full-service lead agency, and OBI has been on a common path. Repeated accolades, awards, and victories underscore the effective collaboration. Most recently, in 2021, the jointly developed campaign 'Mach mal mit OBI' was honored.
